Street Theatre: Humanum F... |
“A journey through memories of a land, that finds its identity with the arrival of the steam machine…
A place where the men once, pulled habits and traditions, pressed their body and trod the blood that the
earth offered them.
Now the time is marked by the crush of the productivity mechanisms in series, headed for an unknown
future… Consign the Machine to Men or Diminish Men to the Machine?”

Entertainment Full Circle |
Full Circle is present by The World Famous with Terrafolk
“Full Circle uses live music, fire, fireworks and special effects to tell a story of change, taking you on a journey through the seasons. A frozen tree sits in a wintry landscape. The wind howls through its branches, carrying strange sounds. Out of the noise, a tune emerges and four pod-like flowers slowly open to reveal musicians. Live music brings the garden to life… Spring’s new growth blooms into a colourful summer party, heat builds and the air turns heavy; Can music resist the storm?”
Full Circle was commissioned by Big In Falkirk and In Situ and co-commissioned by Without Walls.

Street Theatre: Theatron |
An incredible performance displayed vertically, along a “wall” made with scaffolding.
Theatron uses technological, multimedia and fireworks equipment, just as easily as it “invents” scenario machines and a whole “sustainable” and “recovered” scenography, thus creating environments that can be “beautiful and pacifying” but suddenly revert to chaotic and disturbing.
“A praise to construction. An ode to the work of making Theatre happen by making Theatre. Kinetic memory of those that exist because they once existed”.
|
Pi-leau |
Pi-Leau is street theatre that literally moves the audience. Actors and mobile objects move through and with the crowd. Like the sea people find their way around the emerging obstacles. A unique experience!
The shows combine theatre, stilts, music, fire, dance, metal constructions and aerial objects. The audience is always their stage.
Ice is melting, the sea level is rising and water covers the earth.

Show Pyro-Musical |
After two weeks of activities and many attractions, the Festival of the Oceans shall close with a magnificent fireworks display synchronized with music suited to the moment, and with the Tagus River in the background.
